This CD was recorded in 1999 and released in 2000. It contains reconstructions of mostly Roman and Gallo-Roman music. This CD was initially not intended for the popular market, but more as a promo for various archeological and historical institutes and people who had supported Omnia through the years. At that time Omnia was a theater group varying between eight to fourteen people and concerned mostly with combat show performances, Gallo-Roman theater and religious ceremonies. This CD is a limited one-run edition (about 100 were released) and remains only as a collector's item.
This CD was recorded using a very special setup with crystals
fitted inside the microphones and recording equipment, to obtain
a unique sonic and emotional fidelity unknown in most modern recordings.
This system is developed uniquely by Norbert Veel in Liessel (NL).
