Well, it was a good show.  The sound was a little off, but I thought that that was more because I was still tired from the very, very long way I went to get there.  I do have to say that I was a little disappointed that I wasn't able to meet Omnia, but that's ok.  They did have a long way to go that weekend and I know exactly how that feels. 

It was a good show and it gave me a lot to think about in regards to the Pagan Tribe and the Tribe in the US.

I made it home this past Monday at 2:30AM EST and I'm already contemplating coming back to Europe.

Hopefully this time with less volcanic ash and more Pagan Tribe and Omnia signings.

I'm not sure yet.  Castlefest looks awesome, Omnia and Faun will be there, and I need to see Katla for the last scene in my book and I'd like to spend some more time observing Dutch people(I'm not sure but I might have a scene in Amsterdam), but I don't know if I have the time off or the money for it.  A lot of it will depend on the $400 USD travel insurance claim for the train fare I paid to get from Oslo to Amsterdam(longest trip ever, but now the idea of going from anywhere to anywhere in Europe doesn't concern me at all).

Who knows?  Maybe I might get an advance on a sample chapter.  Stranger things have happened.

It was .... boaaaaaaah!!!!
I had such a great time there! Met and talked with nice people and hanged a lot around with some other swiss people from the tribe who had their viking tent on the festival area The food and the market was really nice (you don't want to know how much money I spent there xD) and some people had such nice costumes, I coudn't stop staring at them.

And Omnia and the Pagan night... it was sooooo awesome! I stood there in front of the stage like a little child with eyes nearly popping out of my head. Ah really I have no words for that and I know I don't have to say anything more because there are no words for such things and you all know that feeling anyway
Hihi and I persuaded my mother and my brother to come to the sunday omnia concert too. Okay, I think there are 2 new fans. They now always run into my room when I listen to Omnia "oooooaa is that Omnia too? Is that Omnia too? Can you burn me this on a cd?" xD

But I am not really back yet... hmmm I think I forgot a part of me there (actually I can't stop watching the pictures we made^^)... and an other part in fairyland

I would love to visit castlefest again next year... but maybe this will be just a dream. I visited Castlefest this year because there where also other reasons to go to the netherlands.
But it's really against my principles to take an airplane for a "just"-3-days-trip to a nature-friendly festival. And train is too expensive

Perhaps you can visit more then castlefest Folkwoods perhaps, or other music thingies or go for some nice culture/nature walks?
