While I was walking the dogs yesterday, there was a pigeon, it couldnt really walk or fly. So I decided to pick it up and bring it home and call the pet rescue, they took him to the bird hospital. I couldn't let him die or get eaten by predators, so I took the pigeon home.

Merry Meet, divine members of Omnia. I've never heard of you before last Saturday when I received an email from Faerie Worlds. You looked interesting so I clicked to listen. I fell in love. At first it was the boldly Pagan sound of your music, but then, I read Steve Sic's bio on this website and I thought "Holy Shit! They think like I DO!" I mean it, the parallels between how I feel in my heart and how you seem to think, it's just astounding. My philosophy (and what I know to be true, because I can feel it) is that all living creatures have the sacred spark of life and no single creature is above or better than another. Humans only feel that way because they are biased to empathize with other humans, and they're too shallow and ignorant to question their motivation. So man created a big scary book of rules with small print to substantiate their narcissistic destruction and greed. I seem to teeter between my innate feeling of contempt toward humans and the nagging feeling I should love all creatures. I look at the people in this world and I think, how in the hell could anybody root for them??? I am very sensitive and empathetic towards all other creatures and it rips my heart out when I think about the freaking meaningless cruelty perpetuated towards innocent beings by man. If I dwell on things like factory farms or abusive perverts, I nearly hyperventilate. A few years ago, I was contemplating it all and I came to this conclusion: man is the only creature that doesn't belong on this Earth. Any objective observer would see that we weren't made for this world. We have to clothe ourselves, destroy to build structures in which to create artificial atmosphere just to survive. We alter our food and are generally in discord with Mother Earth and her children. Yes, it did occur to me that the world would be a damn fine place, balanced, with all life coexisting in beautiful symbiosis minus one thing: HUMAN BEINGS. So, you can imagine my overwhelming feeling of kinship when I heard your beautiful song "I Don't Speak Human". Yes, we are kindred. And I'm glad to know you all exist. Hallihallöchen Omnia, euer Konzert am Samstag in Dortmund war total magisch. Ihr habt da eine Energie heraufbeschworen die, von song to song anschwellend, am Ende schlichtweg überwältigend war. Und dann die vielen Bäume um euch herum..., noch heute geistert mir euer song "Morrigan" durch meinen Körper..., was das für euch für eine Kraft kosten muss, solche Masse an Magie..., und ihr steht da oben auf der Bühne und spielt und lacht als gäbe es kein Morgen. Wow...Neben Morrigan hat mich an diesem Abend " Dance until we die" umgehauen: Das war perfekt, meine Meinung: besser werdet ihr das nie hinbekommen. An die neuen Stücke muss ich mich erst noch gewöhnen, aber ich fand sie ganz gut. So verbleibe ich in tiefer Dankbarkeit mit den besten Wünschen an euch für eure Gesundheit und Inspiration. War mal wieder sehr schön euch in Dortmund zu hören und zu sehen ;). Leider war von Anfang an ja offensichtlich nicht alles beim Ton so, wie es sein sollte, das hat man auch gehört.. das Didgeridoo war bis zum Ende viel zu leise und die Harfe war auch erst ab der zweiten Hälfte hörbar, und dabei stand ich recht weit vorne...Trotz allem immer wieder eine Freude euch live zu sehen, beim nächsten mal hoffentlich auch wieder mit voller Akustik. I'll try to translate this into english so everyone can unterstand ;) It was - as always - nice to hear and see you playing in Dortmund. Unfortunately, the sound obviously wasn't the way it should be. The Didgeridoo was much to quiet all the time and the harp also wasn't audible until the second half, even if I was pretty close to the stage. Despite the soundproblems, it is always a pleasure to see you performing live, hopefully next time again with full acoustics.

For a moment in a world thatb makes no sense I can close my eyes while listening to your music and feel as though my soul and spirit are being transported to another time and place where the God and the Goddess speak,and for just a moment I block out all distractions. Please keep up the good work and never stop because I feel the music speaking to my soul and spirit and I hope it will speak to others. If animals would be able to understand what a human speak , they would be looking at you, and be really happy for what you are doing for them. And for the nature in General. The earth is our mother and she is really proud of you. You also help other people who are to scared to show their true nature ( while been step on by the society) . And we are sad, that so many fans of Omnia can not see you at Dresden. And we are also sad, that so many people won´t understand, what happens with nature, the environment and our world. They don´t stand up against governments and industrial leaders, who destroy the world for short-sighted profit, and think, after us the deluge, main thing, my account on the Bahamas grows on and on, that´s the real catastrophe. And people see it, and stand before like sheeps. You´ve said it so well in your blog, and we feel the same. I am author, and announcing at Worms your song "Entrezomp ni keltet", and playing this song so wonderful, you gave me the inspiration for a poem, appropiated to this theme. Unlucky it´s too long for this place. I would like to give it to you, but I don´t know on which way. Latest when we meet again at the Castlefest, I´ll do it, and you will understand, what we mean, I think. Be sure, that we feel with you, and we are on your side, living and loving, dancing and laughing, but also fighting the good fight against destruction and for freedom and nature! But now things have changed...Thank you for your strong words and the warning: Something went wrong with our world. Open your fucking eyes! But now it's much more important to help all the people and animals in the floods. Hello my dear Omnia-family! On sunday a friend asked me to come to the Spectaculum in Worms and I was really surprised when I realised the faces of Chloé and Damian and read "Omnia"... Wait! Omnia are playing here today?! I had absolutely no idea and I was so happy that I had desided to join my friends! It was a really great concert! I danced and smiled all the time and felt the strong need to hug you all and tell you how glad I am that you people are there! And I certainly would have told you that after the concert if my friends didn't want to go immediately... So thank you very much for this wonderful concert and for being there, being the wonderful people that you are, being Omnia! And thanks for today's post. "Our beautifull Earth will survive ... It's just that we won't be on it anymore..." That's exactly what I think all the time! Omnia, I must say, allow me to feel apart from the struggles of everyday life. I have exams currently, I'm working on my own band and am struggling with self-doubt but Omnia have inspired me on so many levels. I've literally just now (9:32pm) realised I don't like in a forest with the Pagan musicians of Omnia. I must've spent about 12 hours listening to your music non-stop, in a daydream. Just a note to say hello, and thank you. I've always found celtic musc up lifting when I'm down, and ran across a live prformince Fee Ra Huri about a year ago. I fell in love with Omnia right from the start. Not only with the music, or the look, but your message and the fact that you live what you preach. Your coming to the states soon, (too bad I live on the wrong cost) I hope to get the opportunity to see you live soon. On a side note... I wright a bit poetry myself. Hallo, schlenderte gestern beim MPS in Rastede ziemlich ziellos durch die Gegend. Halt so von Bühne zu Bühne. Da drangen einige sonderliche Klänge an mein Ohr. Harfe, Dijeridou und Blockflöte. Beim näherkommen stand da "Omnia". Noch nie gehört. Irgendwann sagte dann Euer "Indianerhäuptling", es würde sich nur um den Soundcheck handeln, und es ginge erst in 25 Minuten richtig los. Das war mir aber egal, denn was Omnia bereits im Soundcheck zeigte, war besser, als das, was andere Bands ihr Programm nennen. Auch wenn der Mann am Mischpult eine echte Schlafmütze war, möchte ich mich bei Euch für den gestrigen Abend bedanken. Ihr seid Super!

hello again. i read some minutes ago your newest blog-entry, about renso and his art and so on. but while i was reading, i got a question in my mind... what is for you "REAL" art? drawings about animals, plants and so on or more drawings with traditional abilities like pencil, colour pencil, water colour and something like that? i ask you this, because i'm an artist, too. more for hobby, but i draw often different things... only with pencil and coloured pencils. i dont like photoshop and dont use it... but i had to say, that the topics of my drawing changed in the last 3 years. at my beginning i drawn most for others, about series they like and so on... now i let the inspiration flow, when i listen to good music (like omnia, faun, schandmaul...) love daniela

Dear Omnia, I would like to share something with you. I believe we have the youngest Omnia-fan living with is: our 4 year old little girl! She's crazy about Fee Ra Huri, loves Jenny (especially her hair) and points out on many occasions that the digiredoo is a very long pipe that makes a very funny sound! When I was little child, i thought the humans are destroying the world, the animals, the plants, all of the living beings on this beautiful planet. My thinking hasnt changed at all. Lieve mensen, het is vreselijk hoe de aarde verwoest word door mensen. Gelukkig word het bewustzijn van velen steeds groter en zien zij dit ook. Afgelopen zaterdag heb ik voor het eerst een optreden van Omnia meegemaakt en ik voelde me of ik thuiskwam. De band speelde geweldig! I only discovered Omnia shortly before Christmas... but since, my life has been filled with positive things and really changed in so many ways! Me and my soul mate are venturing to Castlefest this year from the UK, and we are so very excited. The whole reason we discovered is, and chose to go, was OMNIA. Your music has reminded me how to open my eyes. It has reminded me that anything is possible. It has made our relationship even more than it was before because we share your magic and song. I remember now I have a choice to be the person I want to be and can be. I just have to reach for it. This includes in my job, finding a better home, and my health. It has strengthened my spirituality, beliefs and made me embrace my Celtic roots harder than ever, and I am so much better for it all! I could go on, but I don't want to seem too crazy to people reading this. OMNIA and their messages changed my life. I will be forever grateful for that. Wonderful video. great message. They don't speak our language but we can talk to them, the frequency of the bee can help us communicate with four legged and winged ones. ( Fish are complicated). Also the language of feeling and thinking in pictures can help. Thinking in words won't do any good
