When our physical body dies, we can return to the immaterial eternal light, we can go back home...
This song "Ansi the butterfly" was written by Steve during Ansi’s (Jenny's mother)'s funeral.
He was 1200 km away on his own at Terra Omnia looking down on the funeral rites through a video "live stream", when he felt contacted by the spirit form of Ans ... and together they wrote this song…
The whole composition, complete with lyrics and music, was finished and rough-recorded within 3 hours... all in a kind of trance, while crying and laughing at the same time!
The lyrics are about letting go of this physical life and going forth into the eternal light when it is your time to go.
(the butterfly is a timeless symbol of the transcendence of the dead...from earth bound caterpillar, to coffin-like cocoon to free flying butterfly).
This version was arranged and recorded in 432 Hz together with Jenny and our friend Aleš Uratnik at his studio in Slovenia.
