We have moved on from sorting out our books and our clothing and (yes!) our instruments to decorations and those little things you keep in a drawer somewhere because you just can't get yourself to throw it away. Now we have been given many many gifts from YOU during all those years. Some have been eaten, smoked and drank, others remained with us for a long time until broken or moving on in different ways, others stayed on our home Altar and will stay there for a long time....but today I found this one. This tiny girl adored me to bits and made this together with her mother. I think I got it about 6 or more years ago (it has no date)...but I guess little Laila is now much less little. So....if you know or are Laila, post a picture! I would love to see how she turned out.

And it would be nice for her to know I still have this.

Children's gifts are priceless, so is their honesty. Being adored by children means they mean it so you must be doing something right.

We're packing up all our belongings to put into storage untill we find a new home... we're gonna be homeless for a while because we've sold our safe little house in the forest, and we are now embarking on a life of adventure on the road; yeah! ;-)
But first... we have to pack up all our "belongings"
But when you come to look upon all the crap that you have collected over the years, we find ourselves wondering:
"How much do we actually NEED to live?"

We're visiting our very sweet and long time OMNIA fans Renate and Dirk of More for Yurts to look at their amazingly beautifull and very comfortable OMNIA-themed Yurt on their own little piece of paradise in Holland.

Wow! We had no idea yurts could be made so beautifully! Hand built in Mongolia and Covered in swirlies, symbols and animal / plant carvings... we need one!

When we create our own "World of Omnia", we'll be sure to get a few cool yurts from them, so that maybe YOU could come and visit us? :-)

Dear animal lovers...Please help!

As you know, we are planning to move to Slovenia. It is a beautiful country with a lot of nature, and home to some (to the ecosystem) really important large predators; the Wolf and the Brown Bear. Every year, there is a lobby for a 'culling' (A nice politically correct word for 'murdering') a few hundred bears and a dozen or so wolves. This is, because sadly, sometimes a bear needs food and in dire need will go into a village or a farm and kill farm animals. They also (very seldom) attack (human) people (of course, humans have killed and still kill many more bears, completely unprovoked). They are big, they are strong, well, they are bears! They still do less damage than humans do, and most farmers are only interested in the financial loss they make and don't care about the actual individuals killed by a bear. As for the wolves, I actually can't find any news about any 'damage' that the less than 50 (!) wolves in Slovenia are doing, but they get heaped on the pile.

The current 2019 murder will be officially 200 bears and 11 wolves. You may know, that killing wolves leads to packs splitting up, making hunting very difficult because they rely on intricate group hunts, meaning the wolves might go for domesticated animals, because it's that, or starve. So it will just get worse...

A petiton has been started, but it is in Slovenian. You can easily sign it if you don't understand the language (or translate the page):

But what we would really like to ask is, if someone who is good with this kind of stuff, can start an international petition to the government. If you do that, we will be so grateful!! And the bears and wolves with you. It is a hasty business, because the act is already there, it just needs a final approval. Thank you so much, hvala!

As you can see we're back in the Blackbeast rolling to yet another weird and wonderfull place.
After spending a peacefully philosophical time filled with enjoying the satisfaction of exercising physical skills with horse, bow, throwing knives, axes and sparring energetically with various home-made larp weaponry with our old (and new) wild hill-tribe warrior friends in Bulgaria ...

We're sorta too busy being free and very happy to blog a lot lately...instead of fingering phones we're roaming the wild hills of Bulgaria on horseback with our friends during the day and playing games and instruments untill night time when we crash-out into our yurt to dream sweet dreamz of nature :-)

But here's a quick note to let you know all's well and groovy in the world of OMNIA and...

We feel very much ALIVE!
