Shamanic drum-painting ritual

This video gives you a glimpse into the creation process behind OMNIA’s Artwork …It shows how most of the OMNIA’s signature pagan patterns on our tattoos, instruments, stage and for our merchandise etc. are made

Steve Sic did this drum-painting ritual on Terra Omnia in 2025. 

Daphyd’s new davul needed a design, so, working from the first crude OMNIA war-drum design from 1996 as a basis, this all new design appeared based on the powerfull clan-symbols from the beginning of OMNIA. This is an example of pure neo-Celtic Pagan art, made “live” and on the spot. This is how how art is born.

There was no pre-designing, no measurements, no artificial aid…

This is just a man ,going with the movement of the hand and the flow of creation.

Feeling the patterns grow and take shape in the harmonious flow of form and energy (like the ancient Celtic “La tene” style) 

using the creative force open to all of us.

Creative force is what makes us unique as humans, to use this power to create beauty with simple things such as pencils, brushes, and paint is empowering, especially on such a magnificent item as Daphyd’s amazing new Davul.

This wonderfull Drum is built by “David Roman” of Berlin.

It’s a pneumatic system “medieval” style Davul. That used to belong to our friend and ex-omnia drummer Mich Rozek. And Daphyd will now learn how to play it ;-)
