OMNIA- “Toys in the Attick”

Because OMNIA has it’s 30 years anniversary this year, we are quietly releasing unpublished works that never saw the light of day through our official OMNIA channels.

This video is one of them!

The OMNIA song “Toys in the Attic” was turned into a Masterpiece stop-motion video many years ago …but… for different reasons was never officially released.

But, looking back through our old material, we found it again, WOW! so here it is!

This wonderfull video was completely hand-made, all the puppets, props, the decor …everything was hand built to scale by our friend “Beatrice” Bauman the amazing Artist / stage performer and part-time ChaosPriestess from Berlin.

Beatrice spent many years of her life making, placing , timing and photographing each and every frame of this ARTWORK by herself.

each frame is a seperate photograph, which together form a motion picture.

This technique used to be called stop-motion film.

(A thing which is unheard of today in this age of easy CGI/ Ai pre-fab cliche rubbish)

The song ’Toys in the Attick” (written in 2009) is about the beauty of being considerd “insane” by a mainstream society that has lost all morals and direction.

We think it really deserves to seen seen, right now, in this time of Ai madness 😉

we hope you enjoy it!
